Blog Announcement

Okay, i wrote yesterday that there’s going to be some changes coming up here and here’s what’s happening. I really want to do a blog where I go out and live blog every day. However, this after dark format just isn’t going to work for this new style of blogging. For one thing, most people are asleep or offline when I go out at night and while it’s still fun to look at the photos the next day, I think it’s a lot more fun for the audience if they can follow me live for the most part and watch the updates unfold in real time. So “Marty After Dark” is going to be coming to a close in a few weeks and then I’ll announce the new blog. I’ll continue to post here, but it’s just going to be random stuff and videos, as I’m going to be busy putting this new blog together. It’s always challenging building a new blog, as I’m not a technology guy, so it’s like starting from scratch each time I start a new one.

It’s funny, every blog I’ve ever done has led to another chapter.
I started out with The Marty Wombacher Show which morphed into A Guy Walks Into 365 Bars which in turn led to Marty After Dark. All of them have been fun adventures and I think the new idea could possibly be the most fun one of them all.

I want to thank everyone who reads this blog from the bottom of my heart!
I really can’t tell you how much it means to me to know that people take time out of their day to come here and I hope you all follow me into my next blog adventure. I’ll be announcing it in a couple weeks right here, so continue to check back when you can. As I said, there’s still going to be some random silliness every day until the announcement, which I’m thinking will be in about two weeks.

P.S. If you’re not on my mailing list and would like to updated via email when the new blog goes up, please send me your email address and I’ll add it to the list. And now, it’s off to work building the new blog!

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
104 (one hundred [and] four) is the natural number following 103 and preceding 105.

105 is the number of stores Target will be opening in Canada in it's first wave. Lord help us.

Calling the Center for the Visually Impaired (CVI) 106 to be clever, is kind of a jerk-off move. That's a lot of processing for someone who's never seen a C, a V, or an I; or a roman numeral for that matter.

Alex Trebeck: "Occasionally it is referred to as 'eleventy-one', as read in The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien."

Contestant: "What is 111"

Alex Trebeck: "You are correct."

I tried to make a point that the silly numbers game was demeaning to Marty's serious work...... the comment never made it into the "comments" . Is there an agenda going on to prevent free speech at this place ? Regardless, I love This place. Marty you are a fine example of the best things in life, and I thank you for that . Keep it up (please). call me numbnuts

@numbnuts: I deleted it because you singled out a commenter in what I thought was a little mean-spirited. I try to look out for people that comment here and I'll do the same for you. The silly numbers game is going on because I'm starting a new blog and it's just a way for people to have a little fun in the meantime. I really appreciate your nice words and I hope you follow the next blog. I'll be putting up an update tomorrow. Thanks for reading. And I will call you numbnuts! By the way, this is number 113! Cheers!

I paid a guy 112 bucks to delete numbnuts comments, apparently I should have paid him 113.
